Hitachi welcomes female employees and provides many opportunities for their learning and development
My Hitachi journey
I have learnt a lot and totally see a great growth curve at Hitachi. I have colleagues who are very supportive and encourage me to be more creative at work. They have supported and provided me ample chances to execute new ideas and drive changes. Sometimes, when I need advice, my leaders step in to help me and share the best practices. They also give me necessary support to deliver campaigns and execute events.
I absolutely love my current role, Brand Communications Specialist, as I have more space to do and promote Hitachi, and Hitachi Vietnam as a great place to work. I also work on University Relations and have initiated more strategic projects for social media. The best part about this role is, every day, I need to be creative and contribute to the organization in unique ways.
What’s it like to be working for Hitachi Vietnam
I find that Hitachi Vietnam and many tech companies in Vietnam welcome diverse talent and give them opportunities not easily available in other industries. For example, Hitachi always tries to provide an enthusiastic and innovative environment for employees to work and learn. At Hitachi Vietnam, we also have annual Innovation Contest to promote new ideas from our employees. Incidentally, my team and I won the 1st Prize in 2021 – we submitted a Care-U Bot idea to boost the morale of employees at work.
A career highlight
I received platinum award from Vietnam Delivery Center Leader in FY21 for my contribution in activities of the company, especially with Early Careers. We hired more than 100 freshers for the Vietnam team and launched impact initiatives to attract top candidates.
The benefits of working for Hitachi Vietnam
We have a great training platform Percipio – a trusting source to learn and explore new things. Moreover, we have 13th month salary benefit, in addition to Vantara Incentive Plan (VIP) – paid 2 times a year that covers our financial wellbeing.
Hitachi welcomes female employees and provides many opportunities for their learning and development. The voice of our female employees is on par with men and there’s parity in every aspect of our operations. There are great meaningful sessions to promote women in the industry and encourage work-life balance for women, especially working mothers.
