Aero and Defense Manufacturing: GovCloud Engineering for a Major Defense Organization

Challenge

This US government defense organization with a responsibility for coordinating complex activities around the globe is the first to initiate migration of its cyber domain to a commercial cloud provider to improve mission assurance and reliability while strengthening information technology efficiency and effectiveness.

The customer needed a repeatable framework consisting of tools, processes and methodologies for securing, migrating, refactoring, and redeveloping existing applications into a government-approved commercial cloud environment. This environment also required a secure DevOps solution to support continuous delivery models to rapidly modernize existing and new applications.
