A member of the Hitachi Digital Services Board of Directors, Yoshinori Hosoya is Vice President and Executive Officer at Hitachi, Ltd., and CEO of the company’s Cloud Services Platform Business Unit.
With more than 35 years of experience at Hitachi, Hosoya-san has held a variety of leadership roles, including within the company’s Information and Telecommunications Group.
Prior to starting his current position in 2023, Hosoya-san served as COO of Hitachi’s Social Infrastructure Systems Business Unit, overseeing business related to the development, maintenance, and operation of mission-critical systems for social infrastructure across sectors, including federal and local government, educational and research institutions, and telecommunications. He was also responsible for accelerating the growth of digital technology businesses and promoting the transformation of business models through Hitachi.
Hosoya-san holds a degree from the Faculty of Science and Engineering at Waseda University.
