As Chief Operating Officer (COO), Rajashekar (Raj) oversees end-to-end operations of the Hitachi Digital Services business – from operational policies and strategic transformation initiatives to budget management, organizational synergies, and P&L execution.
With more than 25 years of industry experience, Raj has a proven track record of delivering transformational business outcomes, driving profitable growth, and building strong, collaborative teams.
Before joining Hitachi in 2020, Raj spent 18 years at Cognizant in various operational and business development leadership roles. Most notably, he managed operations for Cognizant’s Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) business and helped scale it from $0.5 billion to $2.0 billion.
Raj is a graduate of the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani, with a degree in engineering.
