Mike Krut is the Senior Vice President of Information Technology and the CIO for Penske Transportation Solutions (PTS). In this role, he is responsible for Penske Truck Leasing’s Software Engineering and Data Organizations, Information Technology Infrastructure and Technical Support. Additionally, Mike’s role includes Enterprise Level Support for PTS’ Data Communications, Cyber Security and End User Computing/Mobility solutions. Mike chairs both the IT Security Council and Penske Truck Leasing’s IT Governance Council and is a member of the Penske Logistics IT Governance Council.
Mike has been at Penske for 20 years. Prior to Penske, Mike worked with the Deloitte Solutions Consulting practice and held various Information Technology roles at FedEx Ground/RPS. His management career has included Software Engineering, IT Strategy Development, leadership of a Regional Business Intelligence practice, Business Process Automation and Software Selection/Implementation. Mike was named Vice President of Management Information Systems in 2003, and has served in his current role since February, 2015.
Mike is on the Board of Directors for Berks Encore and the Strategic Planning Committee for the United Way of Berks Count.
Mike holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems from Westminster College, New Wilmington, Pa.
