Challenge

Moog Inc is a worldwide manufacturer of precision motion and fluid controls systems for the aerospace and defense markets. It has a diversified product range and operates in three segments: Aircraft Controls, Space and Defense Controls, and Industrial Systems.

• Needed a flexible staffing model that would cater to business demand fluctuations and different time zones
• SAP on hyper-scaler cloud specialization with right levels of ITAR/EAR security for A&D operations
• Need later version of S/4HANA to take advantage of new functionality being released
• Lack of efficiency when provisioning and deprovisioning users
• Adherence to Segregation of Duties audit findings
• Large number of IDOC documents impacting system performance

Solution

• Developed SAP AMS strategy and implementation that would provide a very flexible support model that can adjust to different business demand needs and cover Moog’s operations in different time zones
• Worked closely with the Moog team to ensure our onsite and offshore teams were staffed with the right ITAR compliance in mind
• Implementation and ongoing Run support for the client on Government Cloud (with enhanced Security)
• Implemented SAP CUA to facilitate efficient management of user provisioning
• Implemented GRC to SOD visibility and analysis to ensure compliance
• Upgraded the Moog SAP S/4HANA 1709 system to S/4HANA 1909
• Implemented Archiving for several IDOC records to improve inbound interface performance
