A member of the Hitachi Digital Services Advisory Council, Takeshi Fujisawa currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Social Infrastructure Systems Business Unit at Hitachi, Ltd. In this capacity, Fujisawa-san is responsible for overseeing the development and operation of critical systems for public institutions, contributing to sectors such as government, finance, and social infrastructure. His leadership has been instrumental in expanding digital solutions and promoting Lumada, Hitachi's advanced digital innovation platform.
Fujisawa-san has spent much of his career with Hitachi, joining the company in April 1989. Throughout his tenure, he has held various leadership roles, including General Manager of the Digital Solutions Division and Chief Lumada Business Officer of the Industrial Digital Business Unit, where he was tasked with the integration of IT and OT solutions. In addition, he played a key role in leading the post-merger integration (PMI) of Flexware Innovation, LCC, a North American acquisition focused on business development in the region.
Fujisawa-san holds significant experience in large-scale system development, especially for public institutions and a wide range of industries, including automotive, precision machinery, and pharmaceuticals. His career reflects a deep commitment to fostering innovation and advancing Hitachi's digital transformation initiatives.
