Delivering with Agility in my Current Role
I’m a Project Manager Assistant, and I often step into roles like Scrum Master and Business Analyst as needed. I approach each task with a collaborative and can-do mindset, supporting my team to deliver results smoothly. My responsibilities include tracking and coordinating the project progress to make sure delivery is on schedule; communicating with stakeholders to understand their expectations and keep them up to date with the status and information; identifying potential risks and addressing them before they become issues.
We Work on Protecting Clients and Their Customers
The work our team does is crucial to client’s business operations and the safety of end customers. We are responsible for the Machine Learning implementation of the alert system, detecting potential issues and notifying the client in a split second. This prevents incidents that could endanger the safety of a customer or harm our client’s reputation, while also reducing the stress on the monitoring staff. It’s a space where we deliver dependable, high-impact services that eventually builds our reputation in the market.
My Journey Since Joining Hitachi
Since joining Hitachi in 2022, I’ve grown both personally and professionally. What I’m most proud of is the technical and leadership skills I’ve developed while managing complex projects. The experience gained from these projects helped in my development – a lot of which is due to the support and mentoring of my talented managers. My growth has helped me level up and support my team more effectively.
Outside Work and Advice to Young Professionals
Outside of work, spending time with my foreign friends – especially my American college peers, helps me stay updated about global trends and also lets me unwind. Being regularly in touch with them and discussing various topics, keeps my English fluent and sharpens my client communication.
I believe communication is crucial in many situations, which is why I make sure to dedicate time to improving it every day. My advice for young professionals joining Hitachi Digital Services is simple, stay fo-cused, keep learning, and be adaptable. Technology is always evolving, and the ability to stay curious and embrace change will help you thrive. It’s also important to take the initi-ative and understand how your role fits into the larger picture. Don’t just do the task – think about the broader impact. That’s how you make a difference.
